What I will rather do if I’m not repairing

 It’s my pleasure repairing watches but it’s so tasking repairing some watches , for example would prefer an automatic watch to just have a minor issue , the major issue is stressful and can be tiring , parts are not easy to get and when you get they are on the high side , but the truth is 😃 a watch can’t pass me . I will look at it , and quickly guess the brand even if I’m can’t see it clearly .

If I’m not repairing actually , majorly which I’m going into, it is more of reviewing watches , good ones.  Real good ones , a friend said we should think of another page or make the watch consulting thing be major .. thinking about it , it is actually , cause I have revealed more to people who have zero knowledge about watches and they are always thrilled at the end of the day , cause they never  saw watches the way I explained, most of them,  after talking about watches , they want to get watches as investment , you know owning something you can wear and at the same time , a worthy piece .recently few people reached out to us and said if we can help get a preowned Rolex not too expensive but with great worth and we are on it aswell, recently a guy saw an original 18k gold Franck muller watch and asked for the price , telling him , he was like “I love the shape but I can’t afford that for now” knowing him with replicas of original watches, I suggested he gets the replica of it and I’m amazed, at how much I’ve influenced him over time , he said , “ no, I’m not buying that anymore, I will try and work towards getting the original, so it’s also an asset” I was impressed. So if I’m not repairing, I rather educate people about watches and give advise concerning watches to buy , that will be an asset or something worthwhile they would enjoy for a long while .

Repairing of watches can be tasking but then I wouldn’t want to see a watch sick, I love to see watches come alive 😃

A test to know if I truly know a genuine watch

 Few years ago , I got a call from a guy who I didn’t know at that time was into watches big time , he decided to come see me , about some of his watches , I didn’t know he came to test my ability and to know if I recognized good watches .He came with a clone Rolex watch at first. Seeing the watch I was skeptical, my very first time meeting a clone watch , it looked exactly like a real Rolex submariner, I took it and I was just staring at it , same body , same features which eventually I got to see differences, then I opened the back case !
