I love a Japan movement more

The truth is , probably cause the Japan market first brought out the quartz side of a watch , I guess their dedication to quartz movements is the reason for  their movements being exceptional . You know the introduction of these quartz movements , brought another side to the watch world , where Swiss makers had to have a run for making exceptional Swiss quartz movements too

My take , Japan quartz movements are easy to work on and work with , while Swiss quartz movements often times , are difficult to work on and you may eventually have to get another when damaged .

Now let’s break it down , overtime Japanese products are regarded as very strong , durable , long lasting and I think this was employed into movements too , I work easily with miyota citizen movements , than some ETA movements , sometimes opening and seeing a Swiss quartz movement damaged gives anxiety. While seeing a Japan movement damaged doesn’t get one worked up cause you are sure of getting by with it

Overtime , my conclusion is this ,a Swiss automatic movement is more smooth than a Japan or China automatic movement , while a Japan quartz movement is more smooth and less of an issue than a Swiss quartz movement . But with some seiko automatic movement , Japan is climbing high in both automatic and quartz movements these days .
